I Corinthians 6:19-20 – A Christian’s body is the temple of the Holy Spirit – Take care of it!

1 Corinthians 6:19-20

19 “What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

20 “For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s”.

God the Holy Spirit, as a Christian, lives within our body.  God gave us all that we own, including our bodies.  We don’t  really own them – they are God’s.  We are to be good stewards of what God has endowed us with or it can easily be taken away from us.  If we don’t think that God would be happy having something go in or on our bodies, then we shouldn’t be putting them in/on them.
