/ February 20, 2013Thanks for standing up for the truth of the gospel! I’m trying to begin doing this on-line as well. The site I’ve set up has and will have many audios and videos on it to make learning what Christians need to in this present evil world as simple as possible. I think you’ll like it. Here’s the address: RYFTKOHIAH.WordPress.com. I’ve just started it last year and I’m trying to get this out to as many people as I can, so please pass it on.
Thank you.
As a brother under the blood of Jesus Christ,

/ February 20, 2013Thank you, Mr. Armstrong. Back atcha 😉 I took a look around your site as well. We’ve both been at this about the same amount of time and seem to have a very similar objective. I am trying to focus on teaching the young/inexperienced spiritually what they need to know to actually be able to give a reason for the faith that they say that they have and then the ammunition needed to pass it on to other unsaved people. I also am putting in some of the more spiritually meaty topics in there as well. Many people give statements of faith that they copy from their church or some other similar believing people/site or otherwise and don’t really know what it is more than what is written. They might give a paragraph explaining the Bible where I will write a “dissertation” paper on it so that there is no question (or maybe many more questions) regarding what that little paragraph might have implied. I have a lot of work to do on them given, I don’t have them previously prepared to post.
I will link to your site as I am able if you wouldn’t mind helping me with spreading mine around.
Thanks Joseph!

/ February 20, 2013Yes Sir,
You’re in my next post and my main page.
Question, What do you think of the NIV?
God bless, Glad there are people trying to arm the church and get them out of the Laodicean “church”.

/ February 20, 2013Joseph,
As you might be able to tell by reading any of my posts that have a Bible verse spelled out, I will normally use the KJV. Although, during my studies, I might look up a verse to see a little bit different take on it to see if the idea might be consistent or not. Most times I end up looking for commentaries that are written by men renowned for their strictness of their KJV usage.
That being said, I don’t use the KJV because that is what I was raised on, I have done my homework and checked many sources for information about the differences and the way they were translated, the people that translated them (if they were Christian and if they believe that God will preserve His Word or if they didn’t care), the publishers that printed and distribute the Bibles of different versions. Most publishers don’t have a good Christian stand but rather are out there to make a buck instead of trying to distribute the number one best selling book in the world.
I could go on but instead, I will let you dig some on your own and give you a starting point at this web site. It is good for more resources than just Bible version differences. Check it out:

Happy digging. Let me know if you have other questions…

/ February 21, 2013AAAMMEEEENNNN!!! I did test you, brother!
Glad you’re a Bible believer, too! Good link! I’ve their devotional by Gary Miller and 3 of their comic books including “Sabotage?” They will be in the specifics section of my “Without the Gate”, coming soon. Honestly I use my 20 or so “new versions” for nothing but to show where they are in damnable error.
Please enjoy this video some time when you have time, it’s the greatest I’ve ever seen: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2N3hUuDgU4Y
Remember, the next person that asks you about the NIV may not be a Bible believer. Keep up the Good work!
