Ephesians 4: 31, 32
“Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour,
and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:
And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving
one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.”

Matthew 5: 23, 24
“Therefore if thou bring thy gift
to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother
hath ought against thee; Leave there thy gift before
the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy
brother, and then come and offer thy gift.”

Romans 12: 14 – 17; —“Bless them which persecute you:
bless, and curse not.  Rejoice with them that do rejoice,
and weep with them that weep.  Be of the same mind one
toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to
men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.
Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things
honest in the sight of all men.”

1 Peter 2: 20 – 24
“For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God.  For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously: Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.”

Hebrews 12: 14, 15
“Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which
no man shall see the Lord: Looking diligently lest any man
fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness
springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled.”

James 2: 8; — “But the tongue can no man tame;
it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.”

James 2: 10
“Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing.
My brethren, these things ought not so to be.”

James 2: 14, 15; — “But if ye have bitter envying and strife in
your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.
This wisdom descendeth not from above,
but is earthly, sensual, devilish.”
