Every sin that a man doeth is without the body;
but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.
19 “What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the
Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God,
and ye are not your own?

therefore glorify God in your body,
and in your spirit, which are God’s.”

but unto holiness.”

that ye may be able to bear it.”

1 Corinthians 7: 1 – 5, 7 – 40
1 “Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman.
2 “Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.
3 “Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence: and likewise also the wife unto the husband.
4 “The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife.
5 “Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency.
7 “For I would that all men were even as I myself. But every man hath his proper gift of God, one after this manner, and another after that.

    • Thanks Dr. Gold,
      BTW, great nickname! Thanks for your assessment and noticing that my blog content is from the Bible – strictly. I take the teaching of God’s Word very seriously and to the best of my knowledge and abilities I try to make sure that what is said is in line with His Word. In fact I don’t get carried away with pleasantries because I want this to be teaching and not so much a social site. I have a Facebook side for that @ https://www.facebook.com/ChristiansAreUs 😉 where I get into the exciting part of the behind the scenes side of the blog and where things can get a bit more lite hearted. Anyone is welcome to join in there.

      I do want to welcome any contextual questions or even at least scripture related. I just want to make this site a place where young (or old) Christians can come to pick up some tidbits from God’s Word that can strengthen them in their daily walk with God.

      I welcome you to dig around my site and let me know what you think. I value your input whenever you see fit. Thank you again for dropping by.
