How would you feel?
What would you say?
If God sent an Angel
To change your world today.

He proclaims,
“You are blessed”
And gives you good news
That seems impossible for you.

A child shall be born
Nine months from this day.
He will be your baby,
Who is born to save.

God in the flesh
Will grow in your womb.
You will nourish and love,
For he will come soon.

And when He is born,
“He will be a King.”
The Angelic host
Will gather and sing.

But in your eyes
All you will see,
Is a sweet little baby
This precious King.

You will want to protect,
Like any Mother would,
To hold Him in your arms and remove any pain
But always remember why He came.

He is a King, born to die.
To set the captives free,
And your heart will ache whenever He cries,
And you may never know the reason why.

The ache in your heart, the cries of despair;
When He is taken and beaten and put through this pain,
When he finally breathes his last breath of life.
He says, “It is finished,” as a final goodnight.

But do not fret, for within three days,
He will rise and proclaim,
“For, through Me, your King,
I’m the only way.”
