Temptation 2

1 Corinthians 10:13
“There hath no temptation taken you
but such as is common to man:
but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted
above that ye are able;
but will with the temptation also make a way to escape,
that ye may be able to bear it.”

Matthew 26:41
“Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation:
the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

“Blessed is the man that endureth temptation:
for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life,

  1. I love your list of Bible verses. My favorite is Galatians 5:16.

    • Unfortunately, that verse is not listed in the post but still a very good verse for the subject. It is as listed:

      Galatians 5:16: “This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.”
