Thankfulness

What does God’s Word say about thankfulness? Keep in mind that this just a small amount of the verses available. All of them just couldn’t be included in one place.

3   “I thank my God upon every remembrance of you,
4  “Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy,
5  “For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now;”

—  I Thessalonians 5:18
In everything give thanks:
for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”

Psalm 95:2 —
“Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving,
and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.”

— Psalm 100:4
“Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise:
be thankful unto him, and bless his name.”

Psalm 105:1

make known his deeds among the people.”

Psalm 118:1 —
“O give thanks unto the LORD; for He is good:
because His mercy endoureth forever.”

— Ephesians 5:20

do all in the name of the Lord Jesus,

he distributed to the disciples,
and the disciples to them that were set down;
and likewise of the fishes as much as they would.”
