Hi, My name is Chris D. I am trying to raise money to help my husband Mark D. Mark and I met on the phone 8 years ago, he and I both gave up on love but somehow we found each other and got married even though we lived in different states. Mark was diagnosed with Carcinoid Cancer and was not expected to live long, he was given two years and he has surpassed that by 6 extra years. He also has nerve damage from a spinal cord tumor that he had 15 years ago that left him partially paralyzed and has problems walking. And, with all the medication that he has had to take he now is having difficulties with his mouth and has lost several teeth (and due to lose more).
The medical expenses are becoming overwhelming and trying to keep up on his medical needs is taking a toll. I work full time but can not keep up. We have tried to get assistance for him but can’t seem to get any help. I have reached my last straw and need something. Please consider helping my husband as he is the love of my life and he means the world to me. I would be forever greatful.

/ February 28, 2016I have seen the test results report that Mark had. There are several ‘egg-sized’ tumors in various areas of the abdomen. Cancer treatment is not cheap and there is no possibility of doing surgery. Teeth have not done well either. He needs more dental work done due to the effects of the chemo on his teeth. He cannot take additional pain medication in addition to what he is already taking for the cancer pain. The pain is very severe! I just learned that their car needs repaired. If it is delayed, it may get impounded, then that will heap more expenses on top of the already staggering expenses.
Christine is the only “breadwinner”.in the household now. She is doing her BEST to keep ahead but she can not handle things by herself.
Mark has a tremendous desire to serve the Lord. He is getting close to 65,000 hits with response from all but 10-15 countries in the world. Only eternity will reveal how many have been saved or encouraged through the blog sheet. Possibly, churches have been started because of the Lord’s using a cancer victim’s efforts to reach out to the world through a Christian blog sheet.
If God would so lead you in giving to them in their time of need, I am sure whatever you can do will be much appreciated. Thank you for your interest.
